My Journey

I aroused my great obsession with 眞呼 (mako) 's voice when I heard kein. kein used to be my most favorite band, but they were eventually admitted to disbanding. The ex-members including mako, aie, and ゆきの (yukino) formed a new band with toki called deadman. They started activity in Nagoya and held their first tour named TOUR2001「subliminal show」, then released 1st maxi-single [subliminal effect] on April 25. Toki decided to quit at the end of month, thus sooner they line-up as trio and produced 2nd m-cd. After that, they have embarked their first and also fantastic album「SiteOfScafFold」with the new incoming member takamasa and heat up the atmosphere of indie scene in Japan again.  

The music style of deadman reminds me of Buck-Tick. They are also one of my favorite bands. Their music has vividly evoked the dark side of grunge, moreover incorporated with gothic rock and post-punk.

They stopped band activities on May 23, 2006. ゆきの (yukino) and aie formed a band called the studs with ex-vocalist 大佑 from 蜉蝣 (kagerou) and ex-drummer 響 from Blast. There was a rumour that 眞呼 was going to get married. However, this is not an official statement. No one has any idea what's going on with them. Many fans were bawling and crying over their inevitably long pause.

After 13 years of disbandment, they officially announced a oneman live《 oneman live 2019 -before the dawn-》 which will be hold at Tokyo LIQUIDROOM ebisu on the September 19th, 2019. The group still consists of core band members 眞呼 and aie. Whereas the support members will be Tetsu from メリー（BA）and Asanao from lynch.（DR）. This is the most exciting news for fans after long awaited.

It is their 1st album release on Nov 21, 2001. Some tracks were collected from their tour-limited cd and all new tracks were mostly composed by aie.
